Along with a music aficionado’s love of fine audio equipment, cofounder and CEO Lisa Thomas brings to Spiral Groove the business acumen she honed as cofounder and CEO of Clif Bar, Inc. During Lisa’s Clif Bar tenure, the all-natural energy bar manufacturer was recognized repeatedly, by both “Inc.” and “Working Woman,” as one of the country’s 500 fastest growing privately held companies. In 1998, Lisa was named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year in San Francisco.

In addition to her stewardship of Spiral Groove, Lisa is also Founder and Board President of the Katahdin Foundation, a 501c3 non-profit corporation dedicated to positive social change, and of Hi-Fli Records, a contemporary jazz label that showcases some of today’s most innovative musicians.
